Enordic Evergreen | Technical Manager, Wind Energy
Join Enordic Evergreen as a Technical Manager and take ownership of Nordic wind assets, driving performance, value creation and new investments in a growing international team.
About Enordic Evergreen
Enordic Evergreen is a Nordic renewable energy company investing in and developing renewable energy assets as part of Ardian, one of the world’s leading private investment houses.
Enordic Evergreen has a small and experienced team with strong technical, commercial and operational expertise in the renewable energy sector. The company operates in an international environment, working closely with colleagues, partners and stakeholders across the Nordic region and beyond.
With further investments and acquisitions in the pipeline, Enordic Evergreen is growing its portfolio while maintaining a deliberately compact organisation. This creates an environment where employees have broad responsibilities, work closely with colleagues and external partners, and can see the direct impact of their work.
The company combines an entrepreneurial, development-oriented mindset with the systematic approach, high standards and strong focus on safety required in the energy industry. Enordic Evergreen is results-driven, while also valuing flexibility, different ways of working and continuous development.
The Purpose
As a Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the technical and operational management of selected renewable energy assets in Finland.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently, while continuously looking for ways to improve their performance and create value.
You will develop a holistic understanding of the assets you are responsible for and ensure that the right things happen – whether that means coordinating an external service provider, following up on a technical issue, working with a grid company or landowner, monitoring costs, or identifying an opportunity to improve performance.
You will join the Fleet Management Team of Enordic Evergreen and also work closely with our commercial team and with a broad range of external stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to participate in new investments and acquisitions, including supporting technical due diligence and the integration of new assets into the portfolio.
The role offers a broad perspective and is particularly well suited to someone who wants to take the next step from a more specialised technical role towards broader asset ownership, management and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Asset Management:
Take holistic ownership of selected wind farms and other renewable energy assets, overseeing their performance, availability, reliability and day-to-day operations. Coordinate O&M providers, turbine manufacturers and other technical suppliers, follow up on technical and maintenance issues, and ensure a strong focus on safety. As a Technical Manager, you will also participate in annual owner-side visual inspections of operating wind turbines.Value Creation & Performance:
Continuously look at the assets from an owner’s perspective and identify opportunities to improve performance and availability, optimise costs and supplier arrangements, reduce risks and maximise the commercial value of the assets. While the role does not have direct P&L responsibility, you will contribute to budget management and understand the technical and operational factors impacting financial performance.Stakeholder Management & New Investments:
Build effective relationships with O&M providers, turbine manufacturers, grid companies, electrical contractors, landowners, municipalities and other partners. As Enordic Evergreen grows its portfolio, you will also participate in technical due diligence and the evaluation and integration of new investments.
The role is broad and dynamic, with the balance between operational asset management, value creation and new investments evolving with the company’s growth and investment pipeline.
What We Are Looking For
You may already be an experienced Technical Manager or Asset Manager. Alternatively, you could be a Senior Technician, Lead Technician, Site Supervisor, Service Supervisor or technical professional working for a turbine manufacturer, technology supplier, engineering or consulting company.
What matters most is your combination of wind industry experience, technical understanding, analytical ability, drive and willingness to take broader ownership.
We are looking for someone who has:
Relevant professional experience within wind power and wind turbines – this is essential
A technical background, whether gained through formal education or practical experience
An analytical mindset and the ability to understand technical issues and their wider operational and commercial implications
A strong delivery mindset – you take responsibility and make sure things get done
The ability to work independently, prioritise and manage several topics simultaneously
A genuine interest in understanding how things work and how they can be improved
A growth mindset and motivation to continuously learn and develop
The ability to collaborate naturally with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders
Good judgement and the ability to take ownership when something needs to be resolved
Fluent Finnish and English skills
Willingness and ability to do limited work at height for annual wind turbine inspections (previous experience working at height is considered an advantage)
Readiness to travel to the sites when needed
Knowledge or experience in electrical engineering, automation or controls is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to develop into the role and grow together with Enordic Evergreen. You do not need to know everything from day one. Enordic is happy to invest in someone who has the right foundation, mindset and motivation to challenge us and learn with us.
