Aire Energy is a fast-growing Swedish energy-tech company developing AI-driven software that optimises renewable energy assets and electricity market participation. Through their Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform, they coordinate and optimise assets such as wind, solar, batteries, and industrial loads, helping asset owners maximise revenue while supporting grid stability.
As Aire Energy expands into Finland, we are looking for a Sales Manager to build the company's market presence, drive commercial growth, and become a trusted name in the local energy ecosystem.
The Role
As Sales Manager Finland, you will take ownership of Aire’s commercial success in the Finnish market. This is a highly entrepreneurial, first-hire role where you combine market development, strategic business development, and hands-on sales execution.
You will lead the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and running simulations to closing agreements, while acting as the voice of the Finnish market internally. While existing connections within the Finnish energy ecosystem (e.g. IPPs, developers, investors, EPCs, asset owners) can help you get started, they are not essential. We also value individuals who are motivated to build relationships from the ground up and establish a strong market presence over time.
This role offers strong growth potential, with the opportunity to contribute to future expansion into the Baltics.
Key Responsibilities
Build and develop Aire’s presence and brand in Finland
Identify, engage, and convert new customers across target segments (asset owners, IPPs, developers, utilities, storage investors)
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with EPCs and other key market players
Own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and simulations to signed agreements
Drive proactive sales activity in a complex B2B SaaS environment
Provide market insights and feedback to product and leadership teams
Represent Aire in the Finnish energy ecosystem and build long-term trust with stakeholders
Your Profile
We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional with strong market understanding and the ability to operate independently in a new market.
You likely bring:
Experience in the energy sector (e.g. renewables, energy trading, storage, aggregators, utilities, or energy SaaS)
Good understanding of electricity markets, ideally including flexibility, balancing, or ancillary services
Proven track record in complex B2B sales (SaaS experience is a plus)
Fluency in Finnish and English
A proactive, “hunter” mindset with the ability to build something from the ground up
Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
