Purpose

The Director of IT & Applications is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of ICEYE’s enterprise IT services, applications, integrations, and data capabilities. This role plays a critical part in shaping ICEYE’s technology landscape and elevating IT performance, governance, and operational maturity across the business.

We are seeking an experienced and versatile leader with deep expertise in enterprise applications (ERP, CRM), data strategy, IT service management, and change leadership. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to drive transformation, implement processes at scale, and support a growing global organization.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute an IT & Applications strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead and develop teams across service delivery, infrastructure, integrations, and business applications.
• Mentor and guide senior IT leaders to build long-term capability and leadership depth.
• Ensure tools, processes, and resources meet evolving organizational requirements.
• Drive IT transformation through structured change management practices.

IT Service & Operations

• Oversee delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable IT services and infrastructure.

• Manage IT Service Desk operations, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.

• Implement and improve ITIL-based processes to increase service maturity.

Business Applications & Process

• Lead strategy, lifecycle management, and optimization of ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.

• Streamline and automate business processes, ensuring strong documentation and integration between systems.

• Evaluate and implement new applications to support business growth and scalability.

Data & Analytics

• Develop and maintain a company-wide data and analytics strategy.

• Oversee data platforms, ETL pipelines, and reporting systems.

• Promote data-driven decision-making while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
  

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Lead IT and application projects within scope, time, and budget.

• Manage stakeholders, vendors, contracts, and budgets effectively.

• Ensure transparent communication and alignment across senior business stakeholders.

Background and requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior IT management role, with proven leadership in a complex, international environment.

• Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM).

• Technical expertise in network infrastructure, systems management, and IT operations.

• Demonstrated experience with data analytics, data warehousing, and visualization tools.

• Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework and best practices, including practical implementation.

• Experience leading significant change initiatives or IT transformations.

• Excellent project management skills with experience driving large-scale, cross-functional projects.

• Experience in IT vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget ownership.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability and readiness to commit to working from the office 4-5 days a week.
