Purpose
We are now looking for an experienced finance professional to join Neoen in a broad and responsible role.

As a Financial Controller, your key purpose is to ensure accurate financial management, statutory compliance, and insightful reporting to support Neoen’s operations in Finland. You will act as the financial bridge between local teams, external partners, and the Group, contributing to strong internal controls, budgeting, and financial performance.

This is not just about producing reports — you'll play a key role in ensuring accounting accuracy, managing and, if needed, challenging the outsourced bookkeeping partner, and developing financial processes for more efficiency. You’ll oversee monthly closings, budgeting, and forecasting.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Analysing financial data and comparing it against budgets
• Long-term cash flow forecasting and investment planning
• Supporting tax optimisation and proposing financially sound business solutions
• Identifying and implementing improvements to support business growth

Background & Requirements

• A degree in Finance and several years of experience in auditing and financial controller roles, ideally within a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in Finnish GAAP standards, Finnish taxes, and reporting/budgeting.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English (written and spoken).
• Proactive and solution-oriented with a strong business sense and a passion for working in a multicultural environment.
• Expertise in the energy industry is advantageous.
