Purpose
In Finland, SunDay together with KP Energy are a leading player in the field of industrial scale solar park projects. The key to successful solar park building is a good ground, soil and water management knowledge, combined with good civil engineering competence.
Your role is to be responsible for developing SunDay’s ground and soil building competence, as well as act as a civil engineering specialist. You will also develop EPC abilities, do quotes, and manage solar park projects with the rest of the team as well as drive new business. In addition, you will focus on improving their services in the Nordics and developing the system and product offering. You will work closely with customers and partners.

Responsibilities
- Responsibility for acting as the Expert of SunDay’s ground and soil building and civil engineering.
- Create and handle quotations for EPC projects, do calculations and handle client contracts.
- Managing and delivering client projects from design and planning phases to execution and handover.
- Perform site visits to ensure the projects are progressing smoothly.
- Oversee technical details to drive new business.
- Improve and develop SunDay's offering, products and services in Photovoltaic (PV), Energy storage solutions (ESS), energy management systems (EMS) and EV charging Solutions.
- Be involved and support sales is discussions with clients and with the help of the team turn them into successful business cases.
- Work together with the whole team to drive successful business.
Background and Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering, ideally in civil engineering or other similar.
- Experience in EPC projects, Project Management, and construction site experience.
- Experience in creating project quotations.
- Experience and/or knowledge in solar energy, EV charging solutions and/or energy storage systems is an advantage.
- Electricity knowledge and/or experience is an asset.
- Readiness to travel occasionally, mostly in Finland.
