Purpose of the role
As Bid & Procurement Manager – Data Centers, you play a central role in securing profitable and competitive data center projects. You are responsible for managing bid calculations and procurement activities during both the sales and production phases, ensuring that cost structures, supplier agreements, and commercial risks are fully aligned with customer contracts and Eltel’s business objectives.
The role offers a flexible location. Most projects are based in Southern, Western, Eastern, or Central Finland. Ideally, you are located near one of Eltel Network’s offices, which are spread across the country, to facilitate collaboration and site visits.
Responsibilities
Prepare and calculate customer proposals and tenders within defined technical, commercial, and contractual constraints
Manage competitive RFQ processes for suppliers and subcontractors during the bid phase
Review and comment on customer and supplier contracts from a commercial and risk perspective
Ensure supplier and subcontractor agreements are aligned with customer contract requirements
Lead final procurement tendering after project award, ensuring pricing supports bid estimates and delivery schedules
Actively manage supplier and procurement-related risks across the project portfolio
Contribute to achieving net sales, gross margin, and profitability targets.
