The energy transition is creating unprecedented challenges in our electricity grids, which are struggling with managing increased penetration of renewable generation and new electrified loads. The distribution grids are especially undergoing a transformation to cope with these new conditions.
Plexigrids game-changing technology addresses these challenges by providing visibility, advanced analytics, and control of previously passive low voltage grids. Plexigrid enable grid operators to ensure future capacity needs are met while enabling faster integration of distributed energy resources. Plexigrid captures the potential of flexibility in the grid reducing costs and improving grid stability, making distribution grids smarter, more resilient, and more sustainable.
The role
As a Presales Consultant at Plexigrid, you will work with some of the world’s leading energy companies, helping them transform their grids and operations for a more sustainable future. You’ll collaborate with outstanding colleagues and ecosystem partners while gaining hands-on experience across sales, marketing, product management, and technology development.
In this role, you will:
-Develop a deep understanding of Plexigrid’s technical solutions and how they create value for our customers.
-Support the sales team in communicating complex solutions in a clear, compelling way.
-Engage with prospective and existing customers to ensure they fully understand the value we deliver.
-Bring back valuable customer insights to internal teams, helping shape our product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
You’ll be supported by senior colleagues and given the opportunity to grow into the role, learning side by side with Plexigrid’s sales leaders and technical experts. Tasks
• Co-create winning solutions with customers by working closely with Plexigrid’s sales, technology, and operations teams.
• Analyze and understand market needs, customer challenges, competitor offerings, and the broader energy ecosystem to position Plexigrid effectively.
• Support the sales team in preparing and delivering technical proposals, ensuring solutions are clearly articulated and tailored to customer needs.
• Master and showcase Plexigrid’s demonstration system, continuously improving demo scenarios to create compelling customer experiences.
• Develop high-quality customer-facing documentation, presentations, and technical content that clearly communicates Plexigrid’s value.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams by testing new product features, evaluating usability, and providing structured feedback to improve our solutions.
• Assist in customer workshops and proof-of-concept projects, gathering insights to shape solution design and future product development.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by capturing best practices, creating reusable sales assets, and supporting internal training initiatives.
• Represent Plexigrid at industry events, webinars, or partner sessions, building credibility and strengthening our position in the market.

The role is based in Europe, with a global scope supporting other regions as needed.
Background and Requirements
• University degree in electrical engineering, power systems, energy technology, or a related field – or equivalent professional experience working with electricity grids.
• Well-developed social and communication skills.
• Interest in the intersection between technical and business values.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and hands on attitude.
• Keen to learn new tools, software, and technologies, and to stay updated on industry trends such as smart grids,flexibility, and digitalization.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a strong plus.
• Previous exposure to the energy sector, utilities, grid operators, or related industries is positively valued.
