AESC | Recruitment Manager
Purpose
AESC is a rapidly growing business with an increasing need for large-scale recruitment across Europe. The Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in leading efforts to attract and secure top manufacturing talent across the EU region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, hiring managers, and preferred recruitment partners throughout Europe to achieve ambitious headcount targets. You will also ensure recruitment processes comply with local regulations while leveraging market and talent insights to drive informed hiring strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs and design efficient, scalable recruitment plans.
- Lead recruitment initiatives for manufacturing-related roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Partner with hiring managers to provide a seamless, inclusive, and efficient recruitment experience.
- Optimize talent sourcing strategies through diverse recruitment channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, internal talent acquisition function (based in UK and China), and preferred partners.
- Represent AESC at industry exhibitions and seminars to showcase career opportunities.
- Organize and participate in career fairs and campus events to build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline.
- Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal recruitment policies while upholding best practices for diversity and inclusion.
Background and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in corporate recruitment, ideally within large organizations.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for manufacturing-related roles and managing high-volume hiring campaigns.
- Expertise in professional recruiting channels, including LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Experience in building partnerships with schools and universities to support early-career hiring initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating recruitment effectiveness and improving strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage high workloads efficiently and effectively.
- Fluency in written and verbal English is essential. Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
Travel
Due to the nature of this role, flexibility for travel is required. The Recruitment Manager will need to travel within the EU region to attend recruitment events, industry exhibitions, and collaborate with stakeholders as needed.
