AESC is a global leader in battery technology and lithium-ion battery manufacturing, with state-of-the-art facilities in Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and China. As part of our ongoing expansion in France and across Europe, we are seeking a Senior Validation Engineer. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive validation activities to ensure a seamless start of production (SOP) for our production lines. You will also identify and mitigate risks during the validation process to uphold the highest standards of product quality.

The position is located in Douai, France.

Responsibilities : 

• Translate customer and system requirements into detailed test requirements, acting as a bridge between customers, design teams, marketing teams, and test teams.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels internally and externally to ensure accurate, timely, and effective transmission of demands and outputs.
• Assist in planning test resources based on overall requirements and provide timely alerts for potential risks or delays.
• Develop validation plans and monitor progress to ensure both quality and timelines align with project objectives.
• Actively participate in the product development process, identifying, addressing, and mitigating risks related to testing and validation to ensure seamless product progress.
• Provide support for local laboratory operations.

Skills & Requirements: 

• Mechanical, mechanics, electrical, mechatronics and other science and technology majors, Master or above
• More than 5 years of product validation experience, battery related validation experience is preferred;
• Familiar with product Validation process, understanding power battery product design/familiar with power battery related testing and Validation methods is preferred
• Ability to lead and adapt to changes
• Ability to deal with complex problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel both within and outside of Europe
