Purpose
Micvac is a leading innovator in food processing and packaging technology, revolutionizing ready meal production and preservation with a strong commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology. With a stable foundation and a bright future, Micvac is embarking on an ambitious growth journey to scale its business and operations tenfold, accelerating the transformation of the food industry. To support this growth, Micvac is expanding its team and seeking a Technical Sales Manager to educate customers on Micvac’s innovative food packaging solutions and drive sales together with the customer and Micvac’s acquisition team.
As a Technical Sales Manager at Micvac, you will lead complex high-ticket sales deals from start to finish, requiring a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and commercial acumen. The role spans two key dimensions: Technology and Sales.
You will need to understand and articulate industrial food production processes, cost drivers, and leverage the benefits of Micvac’s solutions. You will discuss HACCP compliance, PLC systems, industrial automation, and material science related to food packaging, and explain technical systems to both technical and non-technical audiences, building relationships, and driving the sales process forward.
To succeed in this position, we believe you have:
- A strong technical understanding of manufacturing equipment and a background in industrial food production, FMCG, pharmaceutical, packaging, heavy industry, or a highly technical industry
- A strong commercial and social acumen, with the ability to drive technical sales and manage highly technical conversations
- Experience in managing internal stakeholders and leading collaborative efforts
- Strong project leadership skills, with openness to new ideas
We also believe you have:
- A driven and goal-oriented professional with a passion for accelerating both client success and commercial growth.
- Understanding of the Lean manufacturing and Six-Sigma tools and concepts such as A3 Analysis, Kanban, Kaizen, and 5s in production.
- Passionate for lifelong learning and staying up to date with industry trends and technologies
- A plus if you already possess a good understanding of EU legislation in Food Processing/Production and packaging environment
- EU Driver’s license required
- Able to communicate fluently in English, and additional EU language skills are a plus
- Able to travel regularly and represent Micvac in trade shows and industry events.
- Bachelor’s or master´s degree in Engineering
