We are currently seeking a highly experienced Project Control Manager to join AESC´s team for a significant Engineering-Procurement-Construction project. This project involves the construction of large-scale production lines that have never been built before, aiming to achieve cell production volume at an unprecedented scale. The work environment is fast-paced and highly thrilling.
Responsibilities

Time management
- Responsible of the development, improvement, and maintenance of robust time schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery in alignment with PPC and industry standards.
- Coordinate with the project management team and stakeholders to strategize and implement reliable, resource-loaded schedules.
- Ensure the reliability, transparency, and applicability of schedules in adherence to PPC and industry standards

Cost management
- Responsible of the establishment and execution of a comprehensive cost management program for assigned projects.
- Direct the preparation and regular updates of cash flow projections.
- Provide strategic forecasts for project completion, anticipated man-hours and resources to optimize the cost forecasting process.

Risk management
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and proactively manage project risks, leading the contingency management process.
- Conduct routine SWOT analyses, proactively identifying risks and recommending strategic mitigation plans and scenarios.

Claim management.
- Continuously checking project delays, analyzing the delay's reasons, ownership, and impacts.
- Confirm the credibility and validity of claims in strict adherence to PPC and industry standards.

Project Management
- Implement and maintain strong change management procedures within in-scope projects.
- Deliver comprehensive monthly planning packages, presenting all required reports and documents to provide a thorough status update of in-scope projects.
- Ensure seamless alignment between project objectives and organizational targets.
- Validate the target performance quality of all project disciplines and stakeholders.
Background and Requirements
- +15 years of CAPEX project management experience, focusing on planning/scheduling, cost control, and change management, ideally within Automotive or High-tech industries.
- Demonstrate adept understanding of Work & Cost Breakdown Structure and project Coding structures, coupled with the ability to implement refined cost management work processes.
- Exhibit extensive experience in schedule setup, baselining, monitoring, and controlling on large-scale projects across all phases.
- Show a comprehensive mastery of risk and change management principles.
- Demonstrate adept problem-solving in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Expert level proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
- Display strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Show an open-minded approach towards exploring novel ideas, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning.

AESC is investing almost two billion euros to build a battery manufacturing plant in the Hauts-de-France Region. The new Douai site will have a production capacity of 9GWh in 2024, with the potential to reach 24GWh by 2030 to produce state-of-the-art, low-carbon batteries. The site will initially supply the Renault factory which will be increasingly dedicated to producing the brand’s electric vehicles.
