AESC is looking to recruit an Intelligent Manufacturing Specialist to join our European Engineering Centre and drive innovation in battery manufacturing processes through big data and AI-driven solutions. This role is instrumental in leveraging advanced analytics to optimize production systems and enhance battery performance. Flexibility to travel between remote and site-based locations is essential.
The Intelligent Manufacturing Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate predictive analytics and machine learning insights, streamline manufacturing workflows, and evaluate battery performance using cutting-edge platforms such as ACCURE, Twaice, or Voltaiq.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement big data analytics for battery manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate AI-driven insights into production systems.
- Evaluate battery performance using data-driven solutions from platforms like ACCURE, Twaice, or Voltaiq.
- Streamline manufacturing processes through predictive analytics and machine learning.
Qualifications:
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or industrial IoT systems.
- Proficiency in handling data lakes and creating actionable insights.
- Background in software systems related to battery lifecycle management.
Background and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering)
- Proven experience in AI, machine learning, or industrial IoT systems within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong background in big data analytics, including handling and analyzing data lakes.
- Hands-on experience with battery lifecycle management platforms such as ACCURE, Twaice, Voltaiq, PowerUp, or Elysia.
- Previous exposure to battery manufacturing processes or similar high-tech industries is desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, or MATLAB) for data analysis and algorithm development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for handling large-scale data.
- Understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and their integration with AI-driven insights.
- Expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms, with a focus on manufacturing optimization.
- English and French speaking

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams, including manufacturing, R&D, and software development.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
