Our client, with around 4,000 employees, manufacture, license, support, and sell leading technologies to a wide variety of
industries. The industries concerning this position are key markets such as Coatings, Pharmaceutical, & Industrial Applications.
This person will create and execute regional marketing programs to drive growth in specific target segments, in line with the global business objectives. The individual will link strongly with regional sales, technical teams and product managers to implement global business segment programs. The key segments will be Coatings, Pharmaceutical, and Specialty Industrial Applications. This role will report into the Director, Regional Marketing.
  • Implement regional marketing programs to drive further demand in alignment with the overall global segment goals
  • Manage customer facing events, including trade-shows, seminars and lunch and learns, in conjunction with the Marcom team
  • Create regional campaigns, programs, and specific content in support of the global marketing strategy
  • Deploy programs to close pipeline gaps in targeted segments and accounts
  • Actively seek out new and different tactics to reach new prospects and excite existing customers – such as using digital marketing and other market activation activities
  • Collect and report on regional industry market intelligence
  • Develop and execute a proactive feedback loop between global marketing and commercial teams
  • Responsible for sales enablement - To provide sales promotional tools; ensure efficient and timely information flow
  • Responsible for the growth, development, and supervision of junior team member
  • Manage the regional marketing budget


  • Good interpersonal skills in leading and managing teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Trained in project management
  • Experience executing market research projects, digital marketing campaigns, and traditional marketing communications
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRMs (Salesforce)
  • Fluent in analytics driven decision making
  • Budget Management experience
  • Fluent in English and other local languages as required
  • Ability to handle sensitive and extensive confidential data
  • Oral / Verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to create reports and presentations for presentation


  • 25% travel as required – within region


  • 10-12 years of experience in marketing with manufacturing companies
  • Bachelors degree in business / commerce / marketing – or related degree and/or equivalent combination of experience


  • Masters in Business Administration
  • Project Management Certification
  • Experience in the chemicals industry and/or related technology
