Our Client

Our client manufactures and supplies Lubricant and related products for the automotive aftermarket. They are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to manage and develop its market share in Southern Spain.

Location: Spain

The Position: Sales Representative

The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing sales in Southern Spain, identifying sales opportunities and promoting and selling the company’s wide range of Lubricant products. This is a home office-based position, focused on both distributors and direct sales. The market that the Sales Representative will be targeting is the Automotive Aftermarket, focused on workshops, independent garages and dealerships.

Key Accountabilities for Sales Representative:

  • The Sales Representative will have to plan daily activity, including visits to customers and sales objectives
  • Use the lists, information and publications provided to you, to increase the market share in the territory will be another responsibility of the Sales Representative
  • It is expected of the Sales Representative to organize product samples for existing and potential customers, advise clients on the presentation of promotional products and materials and participate in commercial events.
  • Another role of the Sales Representative will be to observe the evolution of the market and competition and transmit that information to their superiors
  • The Sales Representative will be required to participate in sales meetings to have information on sales objectives, promotional actions, new products, problems on the ground, etc.

Qualifications & Experience required for Sales Representative:

  • The Sales Representative candidate will need a Bachelors or equivalent degree
  • To be successful in the role of Sales Representative the candidate will need a minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • A strong knowledge of the Automotive aftermarket will make a candidate successful
  • Understanding of Lubricants will be an advantage to the Sales Representative
  • The Sales Representative candidate will need experience in managing distributors and key accounts
