Our client develops and manufactures a wide range of end-use markets, including coatings, wood preservatives, inks, plastics, adhesives, metal processing fluids, HI&I, personal care products, and energy, to name a few.

About the Role: 
The EU Metalworking Fluids Sales Manager administers and directs the implementation of sales and marketing business plan strategies so that product and volume potential can be realized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures a reliable, consistent supply of company products to existing customers by providing monthly inventory turns.
  • Develops and implements value delivered market pricing.
  • Develops new business directly with new customers in the territory and development of new business.
  • Participates actively in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing and sales business plans that increase contribution margin, CM% and expand market share.
  • Exceeds customer expectations on a consistent basis.
  • Develops market intelligence required to gain competitive information as well as identify new applications for existing products in order to gain a competitive edge.
  • Provides the customer with “best in class” customer service in order to meet business plan objectives.
  • Reports on new developments within the marketplace so that research and development can create profitable products.
  • Assists in creating competitive pricing strategies that articulate the added value of Company products.
  • Directs the management of the entire sales cycle so that customers can receive products that satisfy current and future needs.

 

Preferred Qualifications & Required Experience

Business or Scientific Bachelor’s degree required |  Minimum five years of marketing and/or sales experience within Specialty Chemical, preferable for MWF industry.| Biocides and additives experience strongly preferred |  A documented history of profitable growth and successful sales experiences is welcome.

  • Technology / Applications - Knowledge of MWF Industry, applications, raw materials and formulating.
  •  Market Connect - Network of existing relationships with MWF
