Intelligent Employment is seeking a regional Environment, Health & Safety Manager for Europe.

Your role:

  • Overall accountability of EHS Site management for regional projects and ensure EHS KPIs achieved
  • Establish and continuously improve the EHS management procedure for Oversea regional business based on the companies EHS management system structure
  • Manage, control and monitor Regional site operations
  • Lead investigations relating to EHS site incident and accident
  • Maintain and manage EHS site incident and accident investigation independently to ensure that RCA is thoroughly complete, findings are recorded, implemented accordingly closed up
  • Manage client relationship and ensure all related parties are fully aligned with project target
  • Built and foster positive relations with Regional Project / Service Management Team
  • Ensure site management to maintain and apply company EHS culture
  • Interact with EHS team headquarter for support on related issues in addition to dealing directly with the quality function on EHS related quality issues
  • Play an active role in the strategic expansion and development of the Regional EHS function
  • Liaise as necessary between the Company, client, insurance carriers and regulatory agencies to provide assistance and resolution in regard to audits, remedial actions and other EHS related issues
  • Report EHS management plan, performance and other related issues to HQ EHS team and keep regular communication with related function in HQ, not limited to EHS department
  • Executive necessary internal audit for Regional business from EHS perspective


 We would like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:


  • A degree in Engineering or similar
  • A current relevant health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma/IOSH/CSP Certificate or equivalent)
  • Experience: 6-8 years of EHS experience ideally in Wind Industry (onshore) and already gained experience in a multinational environment and a sense of the complex structures in this environment
  • Demonstrated safety leadership experience required
  • Prior experience of working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as well as the ability to work independently
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated experience in building relationships
  • Strong listening and analysis skills to understand the business needs and identify solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors and other stakeholders
  • The ability to find effective solutions by taking a holistic but practical perspective
