The position: Business Development Manager (Industrial Lubricants)

The Business Development Manager, will be responsible for growing our clients Industrial Lubricant business across Germany. Within this role, you will be targeted with developing a distributor network to further increase our clients market share.

Key Accountabilities of Business Development Manager:

  • The Business Development Manager will have to develop and establish a sales network as well as draw up a business plan for their region.
  • You will be responsible for the company’s sales and marketing activities within the Industrial Lubricants industry. Responsible to lead the implementation of actions to achieve the overall sales plan.
  • Supporting the development of regional strategies, review and advice on policies
  • The BDM will review and monitor sales performance within the Industrial Lubricants sector periodically and refine sales strategies as required in discussion within the global line business.
  • As Business Development Manager the candidate will have to support the entire industrial sales organization in line with the long-term vision, mission, values and objectives defined by the Global Management.
  • The management of business contacts to the authorized distributors will be a responsibility of the BDM
  • It will be a responsibility of the Business Development Manager to develop appropriate value-added service offers for the customers.
  • Providing Technical & Product support to the Clients 
  • Being able to cooperate with the local OEM organizations, Associations (industrial unions etc.) and the press
  • It will be the Business Development Manager’s role to represent the company at local fairs, associations etc…
  • The Business Development Manager will have to conduct product research.

Qualifications & Education required for Industrial Business Development Manager:

Chemical or Technical oriented education | long-term experience within Metalworking Fluids | Minimum 5 years sales experience | Sales experience in industrial sector | In-depth knowledge of costing & calculations and a good understanding of Supply Chain | General knowledge in the majority of operations related systems Profound knowledge of MS Office Fluent in German and English (verbal and written) | Driving License B. 

Skills/Experience/Knowledge preferable for Business Development Manager:
