Key Accountabilities of Area Sales Manager:

  • As Area Sales Manager the candidate will have to visit existing and potential customers in all Automotive Aftermarket segments with the aim of growing volume, margin share, and spreading brand awareness.
  • It will be the Area Sales Manager’s responsibility to identify opportunities and prepare proposals to increase share of business.
  • As Area Sales Manager the candidate will have to provide regular feedback on activities to monitor progress toward targets/achievements.
  • Area Sales Manager will be required to attend Sales Meetings and share best practice with Sales Director and colleagues.
  • Supporting the development of, and giving advice, on policies will be a part of the Area Sales Manager role.
  • The Area Sales Manager will be expected to review and monitor sales performance as well as refine sales strategies as required.
  • Implementing actions and plans to achieve the overall sales goal will be included in the Area Sales Manager job role.
  • The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of actively contacting and acquiring clients and building long-term business relationships.
  • The Area Sales Manager will have to monitor and report on competitor field activities.
  • As part of the Area Sales Manager job the candidate will have to provide technical & Product support to Customers.
  • The Area Sales Manager will be the representation of the company at industry events.
  • Another role of the Area Sales Manager is ensuring end user visibility of the brand through promotion.
  • The Area Sales Manager will need to be able to provide the respective reporting on marketing activities as requested from HQ.

Qualifications & Education required for Area Sales Manager:

University degree | Minimum of 5 years sales experience | Fluent in English

Skills/Experience/Knowledge preferable for Area Sales Manager:

Proficient in Microsoft Office | Experience in CRM platform usage | Knowledge of the domestic sales environment
