Our client is an Antwerp-based Whole Solution Supplier of Chemical Feedstock Components to the polyurethane industry. Within the supply chain, they provide safe handling with principles of sustainability of chemical products with technical support, worldwide logistic, and financial services.

New vacancy for a sales professional to account management as well as business development, the ideal candidate would come from a chemical company.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Develop new clients for active fields/applications
  • Account management (region: Benelux, France, Germany, Nordic countries), travelling required
  • New project development
  • Ensures achievement of the sales targets, respecting budgets and margin structure
  • Preparing yearly commercial budgets and monthly follow up of the targets: quantity and margin


  • Must have 3+ years of sales experience within the chemical industry
  • Strong entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
  • Analytical mindset: understanding of financial metrics to be able to control his sales budget
  • Problem-solving to meet deadlines and handling pressure
  • Strong analytical thinking, with a technical interest
  • Strong communication, listening and relationship building skills
  • IT Fluent


  • English (fluent in speaking and writing)
  • Dutch (fluent in speaking and writing)
  • German (preferably)
  • French (preferably)
