The Pharma Sales Account Executive is responsible for net new customer acquisition and maintaining/expanding existing accounts within Pharma market segment. 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry or Pharmacology
  • 5+ Years of successful B2B sales experience

Key Responsibilities for Sales Executive

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing direct Pharma account
  • Responsible for uncovering opportunities with the net new customer within the pharma segment
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers within pharma organizations
  • Maintain knowledge of pre-clinical and early phases of drug development within Pharma organizations
  • Forecast revenue potential for each account and prioritize time accordingly
  • Maintain a presence in the Pharma community by attending Industry Events and Tradeshows

Required Skills:

  • Strong Networking and Relationship-building skills – internal and external
  • Results-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to gain and maintain lasting customer relationships
  • Proven ability to understand and sell a technical product portfolio
  • Well organized with strong customer orientation
  • Excellent listening and teamwork skills
  • Able to work independently with little guidance

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 40-50% of travel required within the territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s/PhD degree in Organic Chemistry or Pharmacology
  • Exposure in either Selling or Sourcing for Pharma/ Life Sciences companies
  • Key Account Management sales experience
